WORDS and photographs in books owned by a Bognor Regis woman capture the majesty of the Queen at her coronation.
The historic records of the special occasion, owned by Jenny Mann, have been given an added relevance by the approaching Diamond Jubilee.
She owns the Country Life Picture Book of the Coronation as well as the book which records the Royal Visit to New Zealand which began in the coronation year of 1953.
Her prized possessions also include the Country Life Book of the Royal Silver Jubilee awarded to her son as a prize in 1977.
Mrs Mann, 62, of Lavinia Court in Hastings Close, said: “The Diamond Jubilee is a special occasion. I’m hoping to have a party for my fellow residents.
“The books belonged to my aunt and they are a record of a special time.”
