SOME summer fun could be on its way in Aldwick.
Parish councillors have agreed to consider holding a community event next year.
They have asked their amenities committee members to make the arrangements.
Cllr Dr Tony Poland, the council’s chairman, said: “It will be up to the amenities committee to decide what to do.
“The decision tonight is all about agreeing to the principle of holding an event. It does not say what the event should be.”
But Cllr Michael Warden advised them to consider staging the event in 2014.
“I think you are starting too late to put something on for next summer, especially if you want to get all the community groups involved,” he said.
