Scottish delights at Burn’s Night supper

A BURN’S Night supper will allow the famous poet to be celebrated in Bognor Regis.

The Scottish occasion is being held by the 4Sight charity to raise funds for its work with blind and partially-sighted people.

The menu will feature a traditional supper which includes cock-a-leekie soup, haggis, tatties and neeps and tipsy laird trifle for dessert.

A piper will play throughout and the Burn’s Night poems and addresses will be delivered by comedian Stuart Nichol, also known as Billy Connearly.

4Sight fundraising manager Tess Drew said: “We have run a number of Burn’s Nights in the past and they have always been a great evening, hugely enjoyed by all those who have attended.”

The supper will take place on January 25 at St Wilfrid’s Church, Ellasdale Road, Bognor. Tickets cost £15 from 01243 828555 or the 4Sight shop in The Arcade.
