Sainsbury’s at Chichester has been closed due to a power cut this lunchtime (Friday February 26).

The Westhampnett Road store is the only SSE customer affected by a fault on a sub station.

The store’s headquarters said the petrol station was still open to customers but the store had been closed.

A spokesman for SSE said the store had been offered a temporary generator and they hoped the fault would be fixed by 5pm.
