The temporary traffic lights in place along The Esplanade in Bognor Regis could last into next week.

Work is being done to repair a damaged drain and a large hole has been dug in the seafront road, at the junction with Lennox Street.

On Wednesday, June 22, a West Sussex County Council spokesperson said: “We are undertaking a drainage investigation and will be carrying out repairs based on what we find.

“We anticipate this will take a few days, possibly into next week.”
