DETECTIVES are appealing for help in tracing a man who is believed to have been involved in a Bognor Regis burglary.

Between 1pm and 4pm on September 2, a house in Den Avenue, was broken into whilst the owners were out. A large amount of valuable jewellery was taken.

DC Jon Woolley from the West Sussex priority crime team said: “I am appealing for the public’s help in tracing this man who was seen in the area at the time of the burglary.

“I am also interested for any information in relation to the distinctive jacket the man is wearing. It is beige in colour, with darker tan patches down each side.

“The man is believed to be aged between 30 to 40 years, about 5ft 10ins.

“He was also carrying a grey shoulder bag and a JD Sports carrier bag. The victim is offering £1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the offender.”
