Bognor Regis residents put their questions to the experts at the town’s Dementia Awareness Day on Monday (June 12), during this year’s Carers Week (June 12-18).

Held at the town’s library, Alzheimer’s Society and other organisations answered questions about dementia and provided information on services available in the area.

Sue Rennie, Alzheimer’s Society Services Manager for West Sussex, said: “The event was very well attended and a number of people were able to access information on what dementia is, how it affects people and the services available locally.

“With 3,343 people living with dementia in the Arun area, it is vital that more people are aware of the services and support available to them in the area.”
