Push bikes taken from Bognor area

BICYCLE thieves have struck in the Bognor Regis area.

Sometime between noon on September 30, and 10.30am on October 2, a black mountain bike was taken from Victoria Drive.

The thief cut through a padlock which had been securing the cycle and then made off with it.

Also on September 30, a report of a theft of a bike from a Hillsboro Road front garden was made to police.

The cycle, which was described as a Hercules model with a green frame, had 26ins wheels and three gears. It was taken at around 10pm. It also had a wire basket on its front and a pink and black child seat on its rear.

Two nights before a bicycle was stolen from Chichester Road, North Bersted.

The push bike was described as Muddy Fox, with a red frame and had Muddy Fox written on it in white lettering. It had 21 gears with twist grip gear shift, and no mudguards.

Anyone with information relating to any of the above crimes should telephone Sussex Police on their non-emergency number 101 or call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
