Police warn stolen goods are being sold cheap in Bognor Regis

Residents and businesses in Bognor Regis have been asked to watch out for goods which are just too cheap to be true.

Officers from the town’s neighbourhood police team have advised people to be on the look out for stolen property which may be for sale.

PCSO Michelle Davies said: “We have been handing out posters in an attempt to encourage people to ask a few more questions if they are offered property for sale at a very cheap price.

“Many stolen goods end up in second hand shops, markets, car boot sales and the advertising pages of local papers as this reduces the chances of them being traced.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Sussex Police on 101 or anonymously via the independent charity, Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
