SUSSEX Police has officially named the 22-year-old who died in a car crash in Shripney Road on April 12.

Peter Adair, 22, of Victoria Drive, Bognor Regis, was killed when his car left the road and hit a tree on the A29 in Shripney.

Police said he was driving his Peugeot 106 car northwards at 6.50am when it collided slightly with another vehicle, a Kia Picanto, before it came off the road.

“His passenger, a 17-year-old girl from Ford, suffered serious head and back injuries and was taken to Southampton Hospital. She is in a critical condition,” said police this morning (April 21).
