Police appeal for witnesses to Bognor burglary

Police are appealing for witnesses after the contents of a safe were taken during a burglary in Cypress Way, Bognor Regis.

The incident is believed to have happened between 8.30am and 1pm last Wednesday, December 7.

In a statment issued today, Sussex Police said: “Entry was forced and a safe containing a quantity of cash and some keys, and a silver ring from a bedroom, were taken.”

Investigator Tom Carpenter of the West Sussex Priority Crime Team said: “This burglary happened just off of a busy road during daylight hours. I am keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and saw any suspicious people or vehicles. I would also be interested to hear from the owners of any vehicles fitted with dash-cams that may have been in busy Barrack Lane between these times.”
