Plants helped by volunteers

SPRING has finally sprung and the Aldingbourne Trust continues to benefit from some fine work from volunteers.

Six helpers from Body Shop International gave up a day of their time in the trust’s horticultural department at the Aldingbourne Country Centre to pot new plants.

Kevin Lade, from Body Shop International, wrote: “My memory of Aldingbourne will be one of great pleasure.

“I thoroughly enjoyed my time on your site.

“All of the staff and clients we met are a credit to you.”

Scott Bell, the trust’s volunteer co-ordinator, said the helpers had carried out a task which had been urgent.
