DETECTIVES are appealing for help to identifying some distinctive items of property found in Bognor Regis.

On 17 June officers conducted a search of a flat in Burnham Avenue, where a large quantity of property was recovered.

Much of which has been identified as being stolen in residential burglaries which have taken place in the town.

Detective Constable Jon Woolley said “ We still have some distinctive items that we are looking to reunite with their rightful owners.

“For example, a 1926 Borough of West Ham Driving licence in the name of Evelyn Bain, and a Handel’s Oratorio Music book from the 1940s stamped ‘Woodgrange Methodist Church’.”

If you recognise the items contact Sussex Police on 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 215 of 16/5.

• Radoslaw Mikus, 33, formerly of Sudley Road, has been charged with a burglary in Culver Road, Felpham on May 16 and a burglary at Glamis Street on February 25.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Chichester Crown Court on August 12.
