CONCERNED residents have met with their MP about speeding traffic.

George and Paula Campbell, and six of their neighbours, told Nick Gibb of their worries over traffic conditions in their Aldwick street.

Mr Gibb, the Tory MP for Bognor Regis and Littlehampton, will take up the matter with the county council and ask it to look at bringing in measures like time-limited street parking or traffic calming.

The residents spoke to Mr Gibb about traffic speeds on Barrack Lane and parked cars and vans restricting the vision from their drives.

“Long-suffering residents living at the seaward end of Barrack Lane have increasingly had to put up with parked cars and vans outside their homes resulting in restricted vision as they try to reverse their cars on to Barrack Lane,” he said, adding that the traffic speed on the road made it a danger rather than just the normal inconvenience.
