Men arrested in Bognor Regis after Littlehampton break-in.

THREE men were arrested at Bognor Regis area addresses after a Littlehampton home was broken into.

Around noon last Wednesday (February 13) the house in Manning Road, was broken into and a valuable rare coin collection was stolen as well as war medals. These items were within a safe that was also stolen.

Police then executed four warrants at a properties in Limmer Lane, Middleton Road, Hoe Lane and Nyetimber Lane.

These resulted in three men, a 33-year-old and two 25-year-olds, being arrested.

The 33-year-old has been bailed until April 13 and the two 25-year-olds until April 11 and 12 while investigations continue.

Detective Sergeant Kevin Scullion said: “Make sure your homes are always secure with doors and windows locked. Don’t make it easy for burglars to break in.

“We are appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious in Manning Road on Wednesday or who has seen a discarded safe to call police on 101 quoting serial 0810 of 13/2.

“Alternatively contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
