POLICE have produced this efit of a man they want to speak to in relation to an attempted grab on a teenage girl in East Dean.

The victim was walking along Charlton Road at about 4.30pm on Sunday, October 26 when a red Ford KA pulled up alongside her and the man inside told her to get into his car.

When she refused the man attempted to grab her arm but she pushed him away and ran to the nearby Fox Goes Free pub, where she raised the alarm. The man drove away.

The man was white, in his late 20s or early 30s and about 5ft 7inch with short brown nearly black hair.

He had a black bushy beard and was wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans.

The car was dented and dirty and had black bumpers.

Detective Constable Gaye Moore said: “Although it has been several weeks since this incident happened, we are still working to identify the man who was involved.

“We do not yet know what the man’s intentions were but we need to find him.

“If you recognise the description of the man or the face in the efit please contact us.”
