Man hurt in Pagham collision

POLICE have appealed for witnesses after a van and pedestrian collided in Pagham.

Officers were called to Pagham Road at 5.45pm on Friday (June 14) afternoon after reports of the crash between a Tesco delivery van and pedestrian.

The van was travelling north when the pedestrian collided with the back of it and hit his head on the ground.

The 60-year-old man from Bognor Regis was taken to Southampton Hospital with a serious head injury where he remains in a critical condition.

Police are appealing for witnesses to telephone 101 quoting Operation Malvern or email collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk.
