A BOGNOR Regis man is among the latest to have been banned from the roads after being caught as part of a police crackdown on drink and drug driving.

The drivers were all arrested during the December crackdown and have now been dealt with by the courts.

The sentencings mean the number of people convicted of offences as part of the Christmas 2013 crackdown has now reached 133.

Jaroslaw Pietrusa, 33, was arrested at 10.45pm on December 28, after officers on patrol found him in a car that had crashed into a tree in Victoria Drive.

Pietrusa, of Barton Road, was convicted of drink-driving.

He was banned from the roads for 12 months, fined £270 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £27 victim surcharge.
