Man attacked in Bognor Regis

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was attacked in Bognor Regis.

The 20-year-old local man was walking home between 7.30pm and 8pm when he was assaulted in Gravits Lane on Saturday, 31 January.

The victim was struck in the face and sustained hand injuries when he fell to the ground but did not require hospital treatment.

The suspect is described as a white man, aged 20-30, 5ft 8ins, of thin build with some muscle build.

He was wearing a black leather jacket, blue jeans and hood puller over his head, and had a foreign accent.

Police are also appealing for anyone who saw a drunk white man in the Gavits Lane area at around that time to come forward.
