Man attacked by women in Bognor Regis

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was attacked by a group of women outside a pub in Bognor Regis.

At 1.45am on Sunday (January 25) police were called to The Steyne after a 47-year-old man was assaulted outside the QE2 pub and suffered a broken ankle.

The man had to be taken to hospital for treatment.

Detective Constable Amanda Gamlin said: “We need to speak to anyone who was in The Steyne on Saturday and saw or heard any part of what happened.

“Please contact us no matter how small the amount of information you might have.”

Two women aged 42 and 45 were arrested on suspicion of wounding and questioned before being released on bail until February 7.
