AUDITIONS proved a hit as children flocked for their chace to be on stage in Bognor Regis.

The open auditions for the musical Honk, which will be making its debut at the Regis Centre, attracted 30 children who all wanted a go at treading the boards.

Honk is the musical story of the Ugly Duckling and features some lovely songs and lively dance routines.

The show, which features a live band, will be the latest offering from local theatrical company Knightstar Productions.

Rehearsals are already underway and the show will be at the Belmont Street theatre on April 16 at 7pm and April 17 at 3pm and 7pm.
