There will be no shortage of family fun in Felpham

FUN for all the family is on offer this weekend.

Everyone is invited to flock to Fun on the Prom on Saturday.

The annual event organised and funded by Felpham Parish Council on behalf of residents will provide free fun-packed entertainment for the whole family.

Cllr Gloria Moss of Felpham Parish Council’s projects committee said: “Felpham Parish Council is proud to once again stage this hugely popular event on behalf of our residents.

“It’s wonderful for us to be able to show-off our amazing Felpham seafront.

“Felpham is our own hidden gem with cafes, local shops, and activities for all ages.

“Residents and visitors alike are welcome to come and join in the fun on this special fun-filled day and evening.”

Starting at 2pm on the prom and Greenswards visitors will be able to enjoy children’s games with Tomfoolery, a Punch and Judy show, fairground games, bouncy castle, arts and crafts and face painting.

Owls about Town will also be taking beautiful owls and other birds of prey and there will be an exciting simulated rescue displays from HM Coastguard and the RNLI.

Felpham Sailing Club will be joining in the fun giving opportunities for experienced sailors and first timers to have a go with experienced crew. The club will also be providing a bar and barbecue from 6pm.

Golden Boulder will compère the afternoon with music and fun and for the first time later in the afternoon Arun Sounds will also take their wonderful musical repertoire.

The event is set to end with a bang with an amazing firework display.
