SIX surgeries around Bognor Regis have received help for patients with breathing problems.

They were each presented with a nebuliser bought by Bognor Hotham Rotary Club. The club bought the nebulisers for £900 from Asthma Relief in the Community.

Club spokesman Frank Parvin said: “All the recipients were delighted to discover that not only were they receiving a nebulister but the Asthma Relief charity would provide ongoing support and back up during the life of the nebuliser.”

The presentation was made by club president Nigel Neville before one of its weekly meetings.

The surgeries involved were Grove House, Maywood, West Meads, Flanham Park Health Centre, Middleton Medical Centre and Yapton.

Contact with Asthma Relief arose from the 2013 Bognor Prom 10k road race held by the club.
