SUNDAY Funday in Bognor Regis is back.
The family fun time in aid of St Wilfrid’s Hospice is being held for the second year in a row.
The event is again being organised by a group of local friends – Charlotte Stubbs, Emiliee Talman, Jessica Dyer, Claire Emmett, Sam Taberrer, Nikita Nichols, Sophie Jennings and Chelsea Sanford.
Charlotte said: “Last year, we managed to raise £3,000 which, although brilliant, is just a small percentage of one single day’s running costs of the hospice at £16,055.
“We are hoping to smash that this year and need people’s help.”
The event will take place from 11am-4pm this Sunday at Bognor Rugby Club off Hampshire Avenue.
Crowd pullers will include an appearance from Mickey Mouse, bouncy castles, a gladiator podium, dance performances and a penalty shoot-out.
Live music, a DJ, steel drummers, face painting, photo fun and a fire engine will add to the attractions. There will also be cake and sweet stalls and a raffle.
Any raffle prizes and donations will be gratefully received. Offers of help should be made to Charlotte on 07966 044342 or email@example.com
The hospice relies on public support to raise 88 per cent of its annual running costs.
This year’s expenses are estimated at just under £6.7m. Only 12 per cent of that is funded by the NHS.
