SPRING was in the air as beautiful blooms went on show in Walberton.
Walberton Horticultural Society held its spring show on Saturday and the flowers and exhibits on show were blooming marvellous.
The warm winter meant many of the spring flowers had already been at their best before the show, but that didn’t hinder members who were still able to find enough to make some first-rate displays.
Floral art and domestic items were all well supported and the event drew in the crowds.
The show was held in Walberton Village Hall, off The Street, and once the event was opened to the public in the afternoon the building was crowded with people enjoying the flowers as well as the homemade cake and refreshments that were on offer.
