Raising cash is the aim for home’s team

A SPONSORED bed push will raise cash for charity.

The three-mile journey will see a team travel from The Royal Bay Care Home in Barrack Lane to the company’s other establishment in Aldwick Road on March 14 in aid of comic relief.

Activities co-ordinator Kirsty Isted said: “Here at the Royal Bay we always try to do something to support charity fundraisers. Last year for Red Nose Day, the manger Jan shaved off all her hair and raised loads.

“This year we have decided to do the sponsored bed push
as we thought it was
something a bit different which would raise lots of money for Comic Relief. We have a good team of staff who are always willing to get involved.”

Anyone who would like
to sponsor the bed push should telephone 01243 267755 or call into the Barrack
Lane home.
