ARTS and alcohol will mix at the launch of a Bognor Regis pub’s new crafts market.
The first of The Crafty Pint sessions will take place from 10am on bank holiday Monday.
It will be staged in the functions room of the Marine Drive West pub, with some outdoor stalls if it is fine.
The free session has been organised by Bognor artist Martin Snook with the pub’s licensee, Justin Jennings.
Those in the initial market can have free space.
Martin said: “We’ll try to fit in as many people as we can. There’s room for 25 stalls in the room and for some more outside if that’s possible.”
The markets are intended to take place regularly.
“We want to encourage artists to exhibit,” said Martin. “I know so many of them who don’t. We want this to be a first step for first-time exhibitors.
“It could be someone who wants to set up a business and wants to find out how their product will sell.”
Justin said: “Hopefully, it will attract more people to the pub and it will help some artists.” More details from 01243 823137 or 07462 277828
