Police officers search for missing Bognor Regis man

POLICE are concerned for the welfare of a Bognor Regis man who went missing over Christmas.

Malcolm Hammond, 62, was last seen leaving his home on Stocker Road just before 9.30am on Christmas Eve.

Officers have been searching for him in the Bognor area. But it is believed he might have taken a train to Brighton on the evening of December 24.

A Sussex Police spokeswoman said today, December 30: “Members of the public are urged to keep an eye out for Malcolm and get in touch with the police if they see anyone matching his description.”

Malcolm is described at white, around 5ft 10ins tall, of medium build, with collar length greying hair, blue eyes and a ruddy complexion.

He was wearing a blue jacket and has been known to wear a flat cap or top hat.

Sussex Police has said today, December 31, that Mr Hammond has been found safe and well in London. They are no longer worried about his wellbeing
