PARKING charges on roads around Bognor Regis town centre will be going up next week.
West Sussex County Council has agreed to increase the fees from Monday.
The new cost will be 90p an hour, against the current 80p.
The roads affected are Aldwick Road, Belmont Street, Clarence Road, The Esplanade, Gloucester Road, Lennox Street, London Road, Lyon Street, Queensway, Sudley Road, Walton Avenue, Walton Road and Waterloo Square.
Marine Drive West’s charge will rise from 40p an hour to 50p.
The roads are included in the controlled parking zone where residents pay for permits to park in designated bays.
Their permits are staying unchanged but a raft of other changes for permits will also take effect on Monday.
Non-resident and traders’ permits will rise from £200 a year to £250 and two-hour permits for those visiting residents will go up from 30p to 35p.
The county council has recently consulted on proposals for zones in Felpham and west Bognor.
