MP demands for housing plans to be rejected

A LOCAL MP has called for unsustainable housing plans to be rejected across the Six Villages area.

Arundel and South Downs MP Nick Herbert has written to all members of Arun District Council asking them to throw out unsustainable development in the local plan.

Mr Herbert’s demands come before a decisive meeting of the council in Littlehampton’s Civic Centre on Wednesday (January 8) at 6pm where councillors will be considering the local plan and specifically housing numbers and locations.

Mr Herbert wants members to reject the strategic housing allocations in the Six Villages area.

For more see the Bognor Regis Observer out on Thursday, January 9.
