TWO men have been arrested and charged after they lost control of their car and it flipped on to its roof in Pagham.
The males failed to stop for a police vehicle before their Peugeot crashed in Sefter Road, at 2.44am yesterday (Sunday, December 1).
Mathew Dewey, 19, unemployed, of Tryndel Way, Bognor, was charged with aggravated vehicle taking and causing vehicle damage.
Grant Sandiford, 19, of Kenilworth Road, a maintenance employee, has been charged with dangerous driving, driving without insurance, failing to stop for a police officer and aggravated vehicle taking.
They have been bailed to appear at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on January 21.
The men were initially taken to St Richard’s Hospital in Chichester with minor injuries they were then arrested and taken into custody.
The police vehicle was not involved in the collision.
