A BOGNOR Regis woman will be falling towards the earth at 120mph in memory of a friend.
Jannah McCormack is taking part in the freefall parachute jump to raise money for the Cardiac Risk in the Young charity.
Her jump from a plane 10,000ft high on August 9 is in memory of David Green. He died in his sleep on December 1, 2010, aged just 19, of an undiagnosed heart condition.
Jannah hopes to raise £500 to help to fund research and provide much-needed mobile heart screening units for young people.
“People that know me know that I am not one for physical activities so I thought I would do something that terrifies the life out of me instead,” she said. She has been inspired by the work of David’s family and friends to promote CRY.
