Eastergate voters set to return to polls

A PARISH council election is been held in Eastergate.

Eastergate residents can go to the polls to register their vote between 7am and 10pm on February 16.

Some 13 candidates have decided to stand, and they are Chris Allington, Gordon Bell, Stephanie Bell, John Donabie, Ian Hewitt, Phillipa Hind, Heather Kilroy, John Kilroy, Tony Occleshaw, David Phillips, Jasmine Sparrow, Robert Sparrow and Stephen White.

The election will take place in Eastergate Parish Hall, in Barnham Road.

The need for the elections was caused after a series of seven resignations from the parish council during the autumn.
