KIND-HEARTED residents in Pagham have helped cardiac patients.

Mill Farm Residents’ Association raised £6,500 to buy three heart monitors for St Richard’s Hospital, at Chichester.

Marion Watson presented the donation on the association’s behalf to consultant cardiologist Dr Colin Reid.

A spokesman for the association said: “This money was raised through various activities such as a moonlight walk of 10k, knitting novelties, raffles and carol singing.

“We thank everyone, including various businesses, that contributed and helped us to raise this amount.”

The Mill Farm estate is off Pagham Road.
