A CALL for volunteers to lend a hand at a popular Bognor Regis musical festival has been made.
With time ticking away to the free Rox Music and Arts Festival which will take over the town in a matter of weeks, organisers are hoping a few volunteers will be willing to help them out.
More than 100 acts are now booked to appear on the festival’s seven stages across half a mile of the town’s seafront.
As is the case every year the charity relies heavily on its army of volunteers that have gladly given up their time over the last 23 years to make their carefully laid plans a huge success.
The event attracts in excess of 35,000 people every year over the weekend so volunteers will be kept busy helping to pull the whole event together.
But it is not all work and no play as when volunteers are off duty they get to spend time at one of the largest free music and arts festivals in the UK, soaking up the atmosphere and hearing some fantastic music.
The event will take place on July 26 and 27 and if you want to be part of the award winning event, visit www.RoxMusicandArts.org and hit the crew registration button.
There are a variety of volunteering roles needed to make sure the event runs smoothly, and those lending a hand will never be bored.
Some of the roles include stewarding, programme sellers, manning the information tent, runners for the stage and other general duties.
