Bognor Regis shaken not stirred by James Bond filming reports

Rumours are rife Bognor Regis has been visited by her majesty’s favourite spy James Bond.

According to national reports producers of the next 007 film - Skyfall - have been shooting in the town after their budget was slashed.

However surrounded in the mystery and intrigue you would associate with Britain’s most famous secret service agent, no definite confirmation has been received.

Arun District Council hasn’t been approached by the production company, but scenes may have been shot on private land outside ownership and managed by the authority.

Council Leader Gillian Brown said: “We encourage and embrace any positive promotion for Bognor Regis and the Arun District and regularly welcome production companies from big and small budget productions to the town throughout the year.

“The town is a great location to film in and of course it benefits from one of the best sunshine records in the UK.

“We’ve had no direct contact from the filming company and they won’t comment on locations until after the film is released so we eagerly await the final film with interest to see if any of the shots turn out to be more than a little familiar.”
