CROWDS are set to descend on the town this weekend as the 24th Rox Music and Arts Festival gets underway today (Saturday, July 26).
With the first acts due to start around 1pm the festival is sure to get Bognor rocking.
Rox spokesman Robin Parker said: “Around 75 per cent of the line-ups on the various stages are new to Rox and there’s a diverse range of musical styles to suit many tastes.
“This is the jewel in Bognor’s crown that shows the whole region, and indeed the world, through our media streaming partners that the town knows how to come together as a community and have one great party.”
There will be seven stages and more than 100 acts, as well as great family entertainment, crafts, food and bars.
The main stage will be in the grounds of the royal Norfolk Hotel, but there will also be other stages to cater for every musical taste.
The fun is set to continue into tomorrow with plenty more musical acts and other entertainments.
Mainly Madness will close the event tonight, with the Fliks headlining tomorrow night.
