AT 105 years young Kathleen Roberts proved age is just a number.
Kathleen celebrated her landmark birthday in style on May 2.
With a glass of wine in her hand and surrounded by friends and loved ones she made sure her birthday was one to remember.
Mrs Roberts said: “I have always tried to stay healthy and active. I still try and get around and do as much as I can.
“It has been lovely to see so many people here to celebrate it really has been wonderful.
Mrs Robert’s birthday bash was organised by friend Brian Holly at took place in The Alex pub.
He said: “She is just inspirational. You would not believe she is 105, she is absolutely fantastic.”
Mr Holly said he was in awe of how independent Mrs Roberts was and would not let anything stand in her way.
As well as cards and presents a lovely cake which showed Mrs Roberts love for dancing was baked in her honour.
Mrs Roberts said: “I used to love dancing. I have been on television three times for it, doing tangos and all sorts.
“The first time I was on television was with Fern Britton when I was 100. I did the tango then and it was lovely.”
