POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an attempt to rob a schoolboy in North Bersted of his mobile phone.

Shortly after 7.30am on Friday, July 4 the 15-year-old boy was on his way to school.

He reached the alleyway in North Bersted which leads from Renoir Mews to Chichester Road when he saw a man outside a block of flats at the alleyway’s entrance.
