BANK customer Anne Harwood has received a year’s worth of monthly statements at her Felpham home this month alone.

Anne has been sent a statement each working day for more than two weeks by Lloyds Bank.

The three-page daily missive concerns her platinum Mastercard credit card account with the bank.

Confusingly, each statement gives a different amount which must be paid. These have zig-zagged around from £49.91 one day, up to £49.90 and then down to £38.25 and £36.58.

Anne, 78, of Crossbush Road, said: “This seems to be ridiculous and a chronic waste of paper.

“I suspect I’m not the only customer to receive this number of statements.

“There are probably millions of us around the country. I’ve been a long-standing customer of Lloyds for at least 16 years and I’ve just had the usual monthly statement until now.”

Her influx of statements began on February 3 and continued earlier this week.

She had been told by the bank a ‘computer error’ was to blame but could not be given a date for the daily deliveries to stop.
