ANGELS will be appearing in surprising places in Bognor Regis and Felpham until the end of the year.
Their unexpected presence is another of the projects designed to bring different sections of the community together and to celebrate the various visions which William Blake had here more than 200 years ago.
The Big Blake project has devised the angels scheme with the help of shops and businesses, some schools, the town library, museum and council and some artists.
Rachel Searle, a founder of the project, said: “The angel project was launched by Big Blake Arts last December with the assembling of giant angels’ wings at the Jeneses Art Centre by more than 50 volunteers.”
Another chance for angel-revealing will come in the Flotsam and Jetsam Angel in the green fair at Hotham Park on May 3.
The highlight of the angelic year will be the William Blake poetry prize in July.
