RESIDENTS in Bognor Regis are being asked to help break a world record.
Deaf healthcare charity SignHealth, want to smash the record for the most people signing and singing at the same time.
The annual event, taking place next year on February 5, aims to raise the public’s awareness of British Sign Language, as well as teaching the next generation of healthcare professionals about the importance of good communication.
Steve Powell, chief executive at SignHealth, said:”We hope lots of adults and children from Bognor Regis will join in with sign2sing 2014 and learn some sign language.
“News of the event is already spreading rapidly and we are hoping to smash our current record.”
