SMOKERS who want to quit are being offered help by the Arun Wellbeing team.
It has joined with the West Sussex NHS stop-smoking service to launch the project.
It has been branded the Q Club for quitters who are demanded to stub out the habit. Club members will be able to enjoy two free weekly exercise classes, gym sessions or swimming or take part in guided healthy walks for three months.
They will also benefit from monthly sessions with a wellbeing adviser to ensure they stay on track.
Roger Wood, Arun District Council’s head of neighbourhoods, said being active helped ex-smokers to manage their cravings.
