FLOOD alerts have been issued for the Aldingbourne and Barnham Rife today (February 14).
The Environment Agency also issued a warning for flooding along the coastal area from Selsey Bill to Elmer.
“Spray from large waves may reach beach side properties along the coast between Selsey and Elmer as there has already been significant beach loss in some areas this winter,” said a spokesman.
“We expect to see road disruption along the A29 as a result of ditch and surface water flooding. There will be flooding of low lying land and the potential risk of flooding to properties in Barnham along lake Lane and Marshall close as well as Shripney.”
