EASTER will come alive in Bognor Regis next month.
The town’s first Easter food fair will take place in the London Road precinct from April 1 to April 6.
Town centre manager Toyubur Rahman has arranged the event. He told Monday’s annual electors’ meeting: “We will have food and arts and crafts available as well as some music and dancing.
“It’s important for us to encourage people to come into the town centre and see what is there.”
He is hoping to build on the success of his initial Christmas fair where artificial snow and a range of stalls delighted shoppers and traders.
For Easter, he has lined up some of the finest British and continental food and craft producers,
They include French charcuteries such as cold-cured meats, wild boar and venison, handmade fudge, olives, baklava and Italian biscuits, cakes and sweets.
There will also be handmade jewellery, wooden garden furniture and ornaments and handmade leather goods.
Street entertainment – including music, funfair rides and an Easter egg hunt for all – will add to the community atmosphere.
