Emsworth man struck by a train close to station is named

THE Emsworth man who died when he was struck by a train earlier this month has been named by police as 82-year-old Barry Mann.

He was killed close to Emsworth Railway Station on Sunday May 3, at 11.05am.

His death is not being treated as suspicious by British Transport Police, who have passed it on to the coroner.

An inquest into his death has been opened and adjourned.
