Elderly woman dies in Felpham accident

An elderly woman has died following a collision in Felpham.

Police were called to the incident at Felpham Road, Bognor Regis, at 12.27pm today (January 13).

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “At 12.27pm on Wednesday (13 January) police were called to the scene of a road traffic collision involving a car and an elderly pedestrian in Felpham Road, Bognor Regis, at its junction with Limmer Lane, outside Felpham post office.

“Sadly the pedestrian, a local woman, died at the scene. The coroner has been informed.”

Anyone who saw what happened is asked to email collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk or phone 101, quoting Operation Nathan.
