A SOLUTION to parking problems outside a Rose Green school has been found.
County councillor Mike Coleman said he was confident talks with the school and county highways officers would end long-running difficulties.
“We are looking a new parking scheme,” he told Pagham Parish Council.
“It’s taken a long time but, hopefully, now things have been sorted. The traffic problems there go back through all my time as a county councillor.”
The scheme will see a layby created in the Raleigh Road school along with parking and a drop-off site. A layby will also be created in the road. Work on the scheme, costing a ‘considerable sum’, should start this summer.
