DANCERS from Bognor Regis are set to take part in a national competition.

Current and former pupils of Laburnum Grove Junior School will be taking part in Dance Challenge, a unique competition which challenges and rewards young dancers.

The school’s head teacher, Pip Otton, said: “We are all really excited about it.

“It is a community dance group made up of pupils and ex-pupils. Our youngest dancer is eight years old and the oldest is 15.”

During the competition the 16 fancy-footed children will show-off their talent in a four minute dance presentation.

The group will travel to the Capitol Theatre in Horsham, on May 24, for the first stage of the competition.
