ANIMAL magic was brought to life by young performers at Pagham Playgroup.
The 66 children delighted a full house of parents and other relatives at their end of term play. The oldest 12 of them, aged about four, dressed up to match the theme of animals.
Jean Powell, the playgroup’s owner, said: “The children sang songs about frogs, rabbits, ponies and the itsy bitsy spider.
“The children enjoy singing to their parents. We have a pianist come in and they have real fun with the songs.”
The show at the Pagham Church Centre has become a tradition for Mrs Powell. She is in her 41st year at the playgroup; this past term has seen the first grandchild enrolled of one of the children she looked after in her early years.
